We are a team of passionate design educators.

Based in the Division of Industrial Design, we are a motley crew with a mission to inspire and grow people through design education.

There are many courses on Design Thinking out there, but we’ve put together our own version with the belief that Design Thinking is for everyone!

Our Team of Lecturers

Hans leads DTK1234. He is a multi-award winning designer, curator and educator who believes that design is for everyone. For him, design helps people learn through taking action, placing the opportunity to shape things in their hands.

Donn Koh

Donn is a co-founder of STUCK Design. As a design practitioner and educator, his innovative techniques on teaching creativity helps students build creative confidence.

Jung-Joo (JJ) Lee

JJ is the Director of Service Design Lab Singapore, which aims to foster design capabilities in non-design organisations. Drawing on her experience, she teaches the importance of empathy in Human-Centered Design.

Clement Zheng

Clement leads the Interactive Materials Lab. His passion for facilitating the use of technology in design, and his experience developing tools for interactive prototyping, lend themselves to helping students appreciate the value of iterative prototyping.

R. Brian Stone

Brian is Interim Head of DID, and Director of the Communication Design Hub. He has lead teams at organisations like BMW, Honda, and the World Bank, and shares his experience with students through teaching the importance of authentic evaluation.
